Meet Bambino the Barber
Her story, in her words.
Growing up in Houston, Texas, I discovered my passion for cutting hair back in high school in 2005. What started as a hobby quickly became something bigger than me. Over the years, I cut hair on and off while continuing to sharpen my craft, and in 2019 I committed to barbering full-time and began pursuing my barber license to officially turn my passion into a career.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit during barber school, like many others in the industry, I faced uncertainty. Instead of giving up, I adapted. I survived those difficult times by providing house call services and continuing to serve clients safely wherever I could. That season taught me resilience, dedication, and the importance of building genuine relationships with people through this craft.
Today, I am proud to be the founding barber of Razor Republic — a vision built from years of hard work, sacrifice, and belief. Long before Razor Republic became reality, my brother and I would talk about one day opening a barbershop together. He always believed in me, pushed me to chase my dream, and never stopped having faith in what I could accomplish.
After my brother passed away in October 2024, his memory became one of my greatest motivations. His belief in me continues to drive everything I do. Along the way, I was also blessed to find an incredible partner who believed in my vision, invested in me, and helped turn that dream into reality.
Razor Republic is more than just a barbershop to me — it is the result of perseverance, faith, family, and purpose. I proudly dedicate this shop and everything it stands for to my brother's memory.
